Head of Product Marketing
The role:
As the Head of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for effective positioning and messaging of our product portfolio in our target markets - internally and externally -, facilitating effective go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution, as well as overseeing the product marketing team. As part of the role you will work closely with our product, sales and marketing leadership on the strategy alignment and support execution of our GTM strategy.
You have a strong background in product marketing or go-to-market in a B2B tech environment (ideally with a managed service offering) and have experience leading a team of product marketing managers. The ideal candidate has a solid technical understanding, outstanding communication skills, strong attention to detail and business acumen.
Your Mission:
- Lead a Product Marketing team within a fast-moving, high-growth organization
- Closely collaborate with the product management team
- Deeply understand and be an evangelist for the Open Systems service offering in our target markets (DACH, UKI, USA).
- Oversee and align go-to-market strategy definition with your team for the two product lines: network and security services
- Review and adjust go-to-market strategy execution with (new business) sales, marketing and (existing customer) business unit leadership
- Own Open Systems’ service packaging and drive activation of the business around key personas and narratives
- Lead the team to develop sales-play focused pitch decks for key sales stages, offer launch materials, and event narratives to accelerate the market momentum
- Structure and align processes within the PMM team and with related functions
Your Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of Product Marketing experience in a B2B tech environment, preferably in cybersecurity (SASE) or IT administration, and with a managed service
- At least 2+ years proven people manager with excellent leadership skills
- Track record of successful go-to-market strategy definition and execution support
- Outstanding communication, story-telling and presentation skills incl. experience in marketing of complex product and service portfolios
- Solid problem-solving ability, research, and analytical skills
- Strong business acumen
- Highly independent and pragmatic
- Proficient in English, preferably fluent in German
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, including executive level communication
- Eligible to work in Switzerland
