Assistantship in German Medieval Studies

The Faculty of Arts of the University of Lausanne invites applications for an assistantship in German Medieval Studies in the German Department.


Job information

Expected start date in position : 1st, February 2025
Contract length : 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Activity rate : 100%
Workplace : Lausanne-Dorigny


Your responsibilities

At least 50% of the working time will be dedicated to the doctoral research.
No more than 50% of the working time will be dedicated to teaching and administrative academic tasks.


You will participate in teaching and research, principally under the direction of Dr. Christine Putzo.
The working and teaching language in the Section is German.
 


Your qualifications

The candidate should have graduated in German Studies and/or German Medieval Studies (degree obtained by start of employment).
He or she desires to write a doctoral thesis in German Medieval Studies.
