Research Assistant/Associate – (100%, m/f/d)

In our Preclinical Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism Department, we are seeking a talented
Research Assistant /Associate – (100%, m/f/d)
for our laboratory dealing with the characterization of new ADC drug candidates.
Job Description
Provide technical support to preclinical research currently ongoing at NBE-Therapeutics. You will be involved in
- development of screening assays to identify ADC/ payload weaknesses in early stages
- provide ad hoc support for DMPK specific questions (e.g., catabolism, metabolism, MetID)
- grant access to discovery assays that allow prediction of ADC behavior in vivo (e.g., blood stability)
- assay development for EIH enabling studies (e.g., DDI potential) and beyond
Your Profile
- Technical diploma, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in chemistry, pharmacology, biology, or other relevant science disciplines. The position is not suitable for candidates holding a PhD, thus their application will not be considered.
- Strong experimental background in development of biochemical assays
- Profound experience with HPLC coupled to mass spectrometry
- At least 5+ years’ experience with LC-MS analytic
- Experience with performing biochemical assays
- Basic knowledge in cell culturing (biological safety level 2)
- Good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team
- Good command of English
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Development of analytical methods for the generation of mass spectrometry profiles from in vitro and in vivo studies performed with ADCs or payloads (small molecules)
- Development of biochemical assays in order to characterize ADCs and its payloads
- Generation of in vitro metabolic profiles in subcellular fractions and cell culture
- Preliminary metabolite structure identification of payloads
- Ability to efficiently plan, organize and clearly document experimental work in a multidisciplinary environment
