Ionplus AG was founded in 2013 as a start-up company of ETH Zurich. Based on years of research and experience of the Laboratory for Ion Beam Physics, we develop and produce devices and systems for sample preparation and measurement of radiocarbon and other nuclides using accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). We are the world's leading supplier of accelerator mass spectrometers and currently employ over 40 people at our site in Dietikon ZH.
We are looking as soon as possible for you, as part of our team at our headquarters in Dietikon for a permanent employment (100 %) as
Duties and responsibilities:
- Providing remote and on-site customer support for our customers worldwide
- Handling and coordination of tickets and reaction times according to SLA requirements
- Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 30% travel may be required)
- Commissioning and acceptance testing of AMS instruments and peripherals worldwide in collaboration with other departments
- Planning and conducting customer trainings on AMS instruments and peripherals
- Writing and updating of work instructions, manuals and test reports
Skills and qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in physics, chemistry, engineering, or a related field
- 3 years or more of experience with scientific instrumentation, preferably mass spectrometry
- Experience in GxP environments with instrument qualifications is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Very good English skills, German skills are considered an advantage
