Your Mission

As a Cabinet Maker at Jet Aviation, you are an expert on the assembly and veneering of our single series monuments. You have the great responsibility of carrying out meticulous work on a variety of materials (Lightweight panels, Veneer, Hardwood, Laminate…) where a high-quality result is expected.

Your veneering duties

  • Prepare surface materials for Laminate or wood veneers application.
  • Cut and apply materials such as Laminate or wood veneers with glue spray gun to cover surfaces of cabinetry.
  • Cut and bond moldings on straight and curved monuments.

 

Your assembly duties

 

  • Perform assembly operations using 3D drawings.
  • Install drawer-slides, hinges, latches, and other hardware in subassemblies, using hand-held and conventional equipment.

Your Profile

  • You have completed a Cabinetmaker diploma (i.e., apprenticeship), or you have any proven related experience.
  • Background experience in aviation industry would be an advantage.
  • You read and understand 2D basic manufacturing drawing.
  • You are at ease using computer systems in general (Outlook, drawing 2D/3D plans on software will be part of your daily work).
  • You possess a great ability to adapt and a strong desire to gain new knowledge.
  • As part of a team, you demonstrate a strong team spirit, always being supportive and collaborative with your colleagues.
  • You bring English skills (A2 level at least), German and/or French is a plus.
