Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Local Sales Units (LSU) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation. Ensuring competent and timely sales support for Local Sales Units (LSUs) and flawless order execution in back-end processes will be a core part of your role, with a primary focus on ACS2000 and ACS580MV solutions.The work model for the role is: hybrid. #LI-hybrid.This role is contributing to the modernization solutions business area with a primary focus on ACS2000 and ACS580MV systems in the assigned sales region. Main stakeholders are Local Sales Units (LSUs), the Sales organization, and customers.You will be mainly accountable for:• Offering technical advice, , and preparing tailored solutions to address customer inquiries and complex requirements• Supporting Sales during negotiations and developing cost-effective offers aligned with customer specifications.• Ensuring the achievement of budget targets, including volume, profitability, and Net Promoter Score, while identifying new opportunities and resolving customer challenges.• Reviewing customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities, sharing lessons learned, and improving processes to enhance technical and commercial outcomes for modernization solutions.
Qualifications for the role
- You have completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship with further education, showcasing foundational knowledge and a strong interest in the subject.
- You bring at least 2 years of experience in the field and are eager to further develop your skills in electrical engineering and drive technology.
- You have a strong interest in sales processes and commercial aspects and are motivated to learn about their applications at ABB
- You enjoy working in a team, are self-motivated, and bring a problem-solving mindset along with intercultural competence to collaborative environments.
- You are comfortable communicating in English and ideally have a good understanding of German.
