Account Manager (m/f/d) - Ophthalmic Surgery

With nearly 80 years of experience, we are the world's largest company in cutting-edge technology for ophthalmology. Because innovative solutions require fresh ideas, we are now looking for an Account Manager (m/f/d) for our Ophthalmic Surgery division mainly in the French-speaking sales territory of Switzerland.

 In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Management of all sales activities in the territory, including expansion of market share and revenue in the cataract IOL and cataract consumables such as viscoelastics and BSS
  • Analysis of the regional customer base to identify business opportunities
  • Customer activation through broad strategy and technical support, including administration and territory management
  • Implementation of marketing strategies in the sales area, including needs analysis and identification of equipment projects
  • Primary point of contact for accounts, coordination of sales activities, referral of inquiries to technical colleagues, conducting product trainings, and increasing market share and revenue in the cataract segment

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Fluent in French with good English skills; knowledge of German is a plus
  • Qualification in the field of surgery, ophthalmology, or sales
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic surgery
  • Excellent communication skills and sales experience
  • Ambitious, results-oriented, enterprising, and energetic personality who can work independently but is also a great team player
  • Willingness to travel within the region
