As the Head of Data Engineering, you will be at the forefront of our data revolution, leading a team of 15+ skilled engineers and architecting solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights. This is a high-impact role that requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills.
Your tasks
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data integration and transformation solutions using Palantir Foundry AIP
Drive innovation in data engineering, expanding the use of Palantir Foundry AIP
Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
Enforce best practices for consistency, scalability, and efficiency across teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering with business goals
Mentor and develop a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
Lead data strategy creation to drive business value and competitive advantage
Supervise development projects, ensuring successful delivery of technical solutions
Lead technical workshops for data-driven initiatives across the organisation
Support company-wide Palantir Foundry adoption programs
Your profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Extensive experience with Palantir Foundry AIP and its best practices
Proven ability to lead and scale data engineering teams in fast-paced environments
Strong understanding of data governance principles and experience implementing governance frameworks
Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines at scale
Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies
Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies
Proficient in English, German is a plus
