The opportunity
We are looking for a Junior Operations Consultant for the Assurance Service Line in Lucerne/Zug/Basel/Zurich/Berne (60% - 80%).
In your role as Junior Operations Consultant you will be part of the Assurance Operations team which is part of the EY Assurance practice. Your main task is to support the leadership team in personnel and organizational matters.
Your collaboration with the leadership team will cover both daily tasks and long-term projects. In addition to regular collaboration with various internal stakeholders (Finance, HR, etc.) to ensure our operational activities, you will report to the Assurance Operations Lead and accompany the monthly Assurance Management Committee meeting.
Through this position you will gain first-hand insights of the Assurance practice and their work. This role allows you to learn skills related to operations, controlling and management of a practice with over 600 employees across Switzerland.
Your key responsibilities:
- Supporting the service line management in the preparation, administration and implementation of new strategies, guidelines and personnel management
- Preparation of decision bases for the respective leaders
- Taking on initial responsibilities for monthly reporting and controlling tasks
- Main support (incl. documenting) of the Assurance Management Committee and their meetings
Skills and attributes for success:
- You are pursuing a bachelor's degree or have an equivalent degree in business administration, HR or a related field
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently, good self-organization skills
- Fluent in English and German, experience with MS Office (especially Excel)
