Position Summary
This position is responsible for carrying out ramp operations in accordance to the highest possible standards set by Jet Aviation in terms of safety, service and quality. This includes a full range of handling services such as aircraft pushback, aircraft refuelers and the safe operation of all Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Main Responsibilities
— Provide fueling services to commercial and corporate aircraft as assigned
— Responsible for the overall FBO ramp operation within established FAA operating procedures and quality standards
— Provide aircraft towing, pushback, marshalling and disconnecting services as required
— Provide Hospitality services such as delivery of luggage and cargo to and from the aircraft
— Provide security ramp escorts to and from the aircraft
— Provide transportation for customers, passengers and crew
— Provide service to the aircraft using ground support equipment (GPU, water, lavatory etc.) and ensure its safe operation
— Assist in providing aircraft with ice, coffee, catering etc. upon request
— Assist with general upkeep of the facility grounds including aircraft, hangar and car cleaning
— Follow the ISAGO rules set for airport operations
— Participate in the Safety & Quality Management System in accordance to the safety and quality policy and be pro-actively involved in a positive safety culture environment
— Identify and report potential hazards and near misses as well as occurrences as required by the reporting system
— Respect all airport policies and all applicable laws and regulations without alienating customers and conduct all work in accordance with Jet Aviation’s Policies, Manuals and Procedures
— Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
Main Responsibilities Cont.
Minimum Requirements
— General education diploma
— At least 2 years of work experience in a fueling or line & ramp role
— Possess a valid driver's license
— Possess a (identify type of) license and certification training (e.g. NATA safety first, FAR 139 fuel and fire safety and CDL as required)
— Ability to read and communicate in English, German and/or French beneficial
— At least 2 years of experience in customer service
— Ability to use Microsoft Office
— Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions
