About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Legal Counsel or Legal Graduate to join our Legal Team. The successful candidate will be part of an international team of lawyers and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters, with a focus in the areas of corporate and financial market law.

What you'll do
- Assist in monitoring and implementing national and international legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Leonteq Group
- Providing legal advice and clarifications to internal stakeholders on Swiss law issues with focus on financial market and corporate law
- Research and drafting of internal legal opinions or internal memos for ad hoc legal questions
- Assisting a team of lawyers with the preparation of contracts and other legal documentation including service agreements, index licenses, credit and collateral/pledge agreements, distribution agreements and related documentation
- Support the roll out and implementation of processes, education and training
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure legal alignment on business projects
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and providing legal support for internal and external audit requests
What you'll need
- Master in law or other relevant legal education
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact and liaise with stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail and thorough execution skills; highly organized to meet competing deadlines
- Solution- and service-oriented personality, eager to learn and keen to take ownership and be part of a dynamic team
Nice to have
- Experience as a Junior Lawyer, preferably in a law firm or in a legal department within a financial services firm
- German and French language skills
