- Inspire, mentor, and guide a diverse team of talented software engineers to achieve high performance, alignment, and continuous growth.
- Take full process ownership of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to software delivery, fostering continuous improvement through feedback loops.
- Conduct regular 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and growth sessions, delivering constructive feedback to help individuals thrive.
- Build strong relationships across teams, serve as your team’s representative, and ensure seamless collaboration with other teams at Wingtra, as well as external contractors.
- Cultivate a team culture centered on collaboration, transparency, and a shared commitment to excellence.
- Champion software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, quality assurance, DevOps strategies, and CI/CD tooling.
- Manage cross-functional projects, plan roadmaps in collaboration with the product owner, and communicate priorities, needs, and metrics effectively.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in a people leadership role, demonstrating skills in mentoring, coaching, and managing teams.
- Proficiency in modern web stacks: Node.js, React, Terraform, AWS (or similar).
- Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge gaps and challenges between teams and departmentsExperience with C++ and Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile-based methodology and software delivery practices.
