Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to spearhead our YouGov operations in Switzerland.
Reporting to our Manging Director, DACH based in Germany, the General Manager, Switzerland will be responsible for all aspects of the CHE business including developing and executing a growth strategy, building and leading a high-performing team and managing key client relationships: The General Manager, Switzerland, will establish and drive sales and revenue growth and use their industry knowledge and acumen to stay ahead of the competition whilst proactively identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. The General Manager, Switzerland will work closely with senior YouGov colleagues across both Europe and globally to share best practices and drive global growth as well as being an ambassador of YouGov in Switzerland, effectively communicating our brand and value proposition to clients, the market and the media.
You Will:

Develop and implement a data-driven growth strategy tailored to the Swiss market.

Identify and nurture key client relationships to foster long-term partnerships and business growth.

Lead and develop a high-performing team across sales, marketing, and operations.

Secure and oversee profitable client contracts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and increase brand awareness.

Represent YouGov at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
You Have:

A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a senior leadership role in marketing-related industries, preferably in market research or data analytics.

A proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.

Strong understanding of the Swiss marketing and market research landscape, as well as the competitive environment.

Experience in managing a P&L.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Deep understanding of data-driven decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advantageous experience:

Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Knowledge of online research methodologies and data products.

Passion for research and data insights.
Vacancy can be based in any CHE YouGov office (Zurich, Root, Kreigstetten or Roktreuz) with hybrid working.
