Strengthen our team in Switzerland (Baden) with your expertise & experience as
Your main responsibility is to perform gas turbine assessments, analyses and technical assistance in our Service team based on broad knowledge of our GT26 gas turbines (as well as on GT36 - new H class - and on our traditional fleet.)
Your tasks
Prepare, execute and close out assessment tasks (up to 80% working on site and facing customers / 20% documenting and preparing reports) • Provide recommendations for reusability, repair and preventive maintenance based on gas turbine assessment procedures and handbooks • Identify and highlight technical risks e.g. critical hardware issues • Identify improvements and support maintenance • Contribute to documentation and tool improvement initiatives • Support technologies, processes and strategies • Provide inspection, outage and engineering support to service and development projects • Contribute to special tasks such as fleet and front runner outages and business opportunities • Contribute with your ideas and solutions • Work in close cooperation with R&D, Engineering, Integrated Plant Support, Customer Service Managers and the Commissioning team, to provide competent results and valuable recommendations to our customers
Your profile
Diplomadegree or trade qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent education • 2 years of experience in the gas turbine industry would be a plus • Know how in GT fundamentals and damage modes, reading technical drawings, writing technical reports and customer presentations, usage of assessment tools • Willingness to travel worldwide, up to 80% on industrial customer sites • Ability to set priorities and act target oriented and efficient with good analytical skills • Strongly oriented to company goals and strategies, customer oriented • Able to judge and analyze technical risks with respect to commercial impacts and requirements • Analytical, open minded, supportive, team player, result-driven and proactive way of working and acting • Good presentation and written skills • Communicative and flexible team player with strong intercultural competences • Able to coordinate / lead assessment teams and tasks on-site • Proactivity and dedication to quality
