Position Overview:
Responsible for the CSS marketing, sales and education strategy to achieve the business' objectives. Develops different business models, aligned with global strategies, that hold regional and local relevance to ensure success with a focus on critical business priorities, talent, and culture plans to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures strong alignment of APAC strategic priorities to CSS Global Business Units imperatives, driving execution of these priorities across the region.
- Directs and coordinates critical processes across APAC related to business planning, marketing planning, portfolio management, life cycle management, market research, business performance tracking including P&L monitoring of the business units and geographies, product launch execution, and multichannel marketing.
- Develop deep customer insights to help shape and influence global partners to ensure the global strategy reflects APAC customer’s unmet needs.
- Lead the implementation of world-class new product launches within APAC, ensuring strategic alignment and a rigorous application NPL processes and metrics to achieve sales and share growth targets.
- Develops, directs and influences activities for the APAC CSS marketing, sales and education organization in accomplishing goals, objectives and strategies within business policies.
- Responsible for developing best-in-class marketing teams with strong proficiency of skills, diverse experiences.
- Establishes marketing and sales priorities across the region, aligned with global expectations.
- Assesses marketing and sales opportunities through appropriate research.
- Cultivates and partners with cross functional partners within APAC and globally to accelerate market appropriate innovation
- Develops strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders, medical associations, public authorities.
- Prepares and oversees the marketing and sales budget and regular sales forecast revisions.
- Directs and plans changes in the marketing and sales organization required for achievement of marketing and sales objectives.
- Holds accountability for business results at APAC business unit level and drives the relevant reporting activities for APAC at the Global Business Unit level.
- Ensures Health Care Compliance and integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.
Extended duties:
Quantifies and ensures the quality, timeliness and cost-effective manner in which marketing programs are implemented. Allocates marketing resources behind the strategic imperatives to maximize impact. Coordinates product launch activities. Creates and directs communications, research and public relations plans to support the strategic plan. Develops and ensures adherence to annual budget. Conducts business activities in compliance with ethics and legal requirements
