Description and Requirements
Would you like to work alongside our commercial sales teams to help drive AMD solutions and increase market share? Are you an expert from the IT industry?
In this role you will assist sales by being on hand to answer product queries, suggest AMD solutions, match Lenovo products against the competition and the completion of the technical sections of customer tenders / RFPs.
What else is waiting for you in this role?
• Become a Sales conduit for pricing support and configuration queries
• Use the office facilities to generate AMD solution content, such as training presentations, videos, social media articles etc
• Manage AMD forecasting and sales cadence
• Work closely with the UK&I 4P team on product stock profile, pricing, and positioning
• Use specialist knowledge to seek out new opportunities and enhance existing opportunities in the business pipeline
• Keep the Sales teams trained up on AMD solutions
• Promote AMD across our channel partner organisation (Lenovo resellers)
• Continuously maintain/enhance technical skills on relevant products / services
• Present Lenovo AMD solutions to customers / speeches at partner events
You will interact with Sales organisation across all BMs, UK&I Commercial 4P team, EMEA & WW product business units and Product Development teams globally.
What do we expect from you?
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in I.T. technical sales role
• Excellent product knowledge across Notebooks, Desktops and Visuals and general I.T.
• Superior problem solving & analysis skills, commitment & action oriented
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer presentation skills
• Superior understanding of corporate IT market
Work location
Based from the Farnborough office with occasional travel to customer locations in the UK&I.
