Our Corporate Functions team is the “enablement engine” of South Pole. Behind the scenes, we provide the business with world-class solutions and best practices that sustain business growth and success. We cover key areas such as Finance, HR, Office Management, Legal, IT, Operations, etc. If you are a smart, ambitious and dynamic professional with a strong passion to make a real difference in the fight against climate change, the below position may be right for you!
Responsibilities:
- Support Talent Acquisition activities for Colombia, Mexico, USA, Canada, and APAC.
- Participate in Human Resources projects for the Americas region and when needed support global initiatives. Including but not limited to Learning & Development, Recognition initiatives, HR Compliance and People Operations
- Support the people operations team with tasks related to payroll, benefits, and employment documentation.
- Prepare documents and reports related to the employee's life cycle, e.g.: labor certificates, overtime, and vacation reports.
- Organize and keep employee files up to date, ensuring that documentation meets legal and regulatory requirements, as well as section documents in Hibob
- Support the People & Ops teams in reviewing internal processes to identify areas for improvement and continuous evolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or studying toward a degree in human resource management or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- Must have good English communication skills (oral and written)
- Self-starter and not afraid of taking the initiative
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters and understand company policies.
