Location: Barcelona, Spain (On-site): 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home.
This is what you will do:
In this role, you will drive the day-to-day management and operations of tactics related to Global Patient Engagement, including the Patient/Caregiver/Patient Advocacy Group Advocate program, Community Sponsorship end-to-end process, and Program Communications. This role will partner with internal cross-functional teams, vendors, and external customers.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage Rare Disease Patient Advocate program, including day-to-day operations of external engagement with patients and PAGs, manage vendor relationship and oversight of logistical details as required.
- Administer global commercial sponsorship process, activities, process oversight and follow up, and audit reporting.
- Create material, including presentations, websites, brochures, and training material, to present patient engagement projects to internal stakeholders.
- Oversee external vendors; manage contracting, purchase orders, and monthly invoicing process.
- On-board and guide newcomers and stakeholders on patient engagement processes and regulatory, legal, and compliance directions for patient engagement activities
- Compile and communicate monthly program metrics and outcomes.
- Be resourceful, patient-centric, and provide exceptional customer service to team members to solve daily challenges in a large, evolving organization.
- Create collaborative relationships with other functional areas and internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, Global Medical Affairs Operations, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Communications, across global regions about patient engagement.

You will need to have:
Essential Qualifications
- Work experience; prefer marketing, public relations, or health care experience.
- Multi-lingual; fluent in English, Spanish, and at least one other language (German preferred) in both written and oral skill is mandatory.
- Exposure to patients or patient advocacy groups within health-related industry from an earlier professional or volunteer role
- Ability to work in global environment, working in matrix organization with multiple project managers.
- Strong presentation skills in various settings (two to 150 people)
- Experience in delivering high-quality customer engagements, personable and detail oriented.
- Ability to travel 20%+ of time.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as social media platforms.
We would prefer for you to have:
- Experience creating material, example presentations, posts, print brochures, for external use.
- Experience managing budgets and contracts.
- Working knowledge of legal, medical, regulatory, and compliance challenges within the pharmaceutical industry
