If you're an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Manager with analytical skills, leadership experiences, high quality oriented personality, an organizational and coordination talent - this could be the role for you:
Here's what you'll do:
- Responsible for the Accounts Receivable Management
- Calculating, recording, inputting or processing financial data
- Preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures
- Managing an Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files
- Ensure timely collection of payments, execute AR dunning runs, and provisioning of outstanding receivables list
- Ensure high-quality revenue accuracy, invoicing, and collection procedures that comply with the law
- Organize records of invoices, bills, and deposits and document resolutions and maintain accurate records of disputes
- Coordinate, monitor, and execute the processing of invoices, accounts receivables, tasks, and projects within the team
- Ensure fair and effective handling of customer inquiries and complaints to deliver a positive client experience
- Act as Superuser for billing-related software
- Ensure billing requirements are raised and considered for standardization and automation in cross-departmental projects
- Manage processes, procedures, and policies about Accounts receivables management and billing, serving as a primary point of contact
- Manage, and coordinate process changes and serve as subject matter expert in cross-departmental projects
- Supporting the Accounts payable process by entering invoices into the accounts payable system, processing payments, filing and maintaining supplier records, checking and verifying invoices
This is what you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or commercial apprenticeship in Accounting with at least 3+ years of experience
- Proven work experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable accounting and management
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and respective laws, incl. Swiss Code of Obligations and ideally IFRS
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Abacus and/or SAP (FI/CO), and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
- Proactive and adaptable, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a dedicated and results-driven approach.
