ROLE OVERVIEW
Part of our Food and Beverage team on our River vessels, the Trainee Chef de Rang will be learning more about the position and what it is like to work onboard one of our river ships. Training programs can be completed in 2-5 weeks. Upon completion, Viking will consider you for the position for which you were trained. The Trainee Chef de Rang reports to Functional Trainer.
WHAT YOU WILL DO ON BOARD
- Learn how to serve meals and beverages to the guests according to the company standards
- Learn how to use MXP WOS (Wait Order System)
- Expand knowledge about wines and other beverages
- Learn HACCP standards
- Attend practical and theoretical assignments
- Complete assignments online and in class

ABOUT YOU
- English knowledge (B2)
- Prior hospitality experience (internship) in F&B
- Talkative, smiley, open-minded, passionate, and warm personality
- Eager to learn
- Able to deal with physical workload
- Able to deal with a high level of stress
