Senior Solution Designer with Kafka (80-100%)

Are you ready for a new challenge? Do you want to work in an agile, self-organized environment where collaboration, trust, and innovation are paramount? We are looking for an experienced Solution Designer for the design and implementation of customer facing business applications and the development of an open and flexible platform.
As a member of an IT Team, you will design technology and solution with focus on event-driven architecture and streaming messaging systems for new projects composed of in-house and third-part software components. You will also contribute your knowledge and expertise for developing cutting-edge AI solution, provide general blueprints and best practices to improve existing projects and to establish architecture baseline.
What You Will Do
- design and architect end-to-end solutions while adhering to security and compliance requirements and software development standards
- develop technical specifications and architectural designs for streaming messaging systems
- design and implement Gen AI applications and solutions using a variety of Large Language Models (LLMs) and tools
- architect and implement scalable, robust, and maintainable test automation framework that support various types of End-to-end testing
- prepare high-level effort and cost estimations for new projects, required technology solutions or integration of third-party frameworks/components
What You Bring
- minimum 7 years of professional experience in solution design, implementation of even-driven (Kafka-based systems) and microservices architectures, application security concepts and authorization & authentication standards (OAuth2/OpenID)
- strong hands-on experience in: Java (Spring Boot), Databases (SQL & NoSQL), REST API Design and DevOps tools and frameworks (CI/CD)
- experience with LLMs, chatbots, vector DBs and developing robust and scalable Gen AI solutions
- broad experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks that are integrated seamlessly with the CI/CD pipeline and support continuous testing practices
- excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in German and/or Spanish is a plus
