As a Software Lifecycle Manager, you will leverage expertise in DevOps, architecture, and technical debt management to drive excellence through agile leadership, collaboration, and industry best practices. Ensure seamless software releases, zero downtime, and exceptional product quality. This leadership role offers the opportunity to supervise and mentor a team of Software Development Engineers, shaping the direction of our software development lifecycle and collaborating with global teams to drive business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead mission-critical software system development for medical devices.
Manage core technologies, ensuring efficient development with high quality and Agile integrity.
Implement Agile/SCRUM, DevOps, and architectural infrastructure for continuous deployment.
Oversee software implementation, testing, documentation, quality control, and support.
Support regulatory processes (FDA approval).
Manage budget, project schedules, recruiting, and R&D activities.
Collaborate globally to drive business growth.
Participate in technology trend analysis and project planning.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in continuous improvement teams.
Interface with global development teams, sales, and marketing.
Occasional travel to Germany.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of industrial software development experience, 5+ years in software development management.
Strong expertise in:
C/C++, Embedded SW Development, Linux.
Medical device systems, regulatory efforts, and quality system regulations (21CFR Part 820, ISO13485, ISO9001).
Agile/SCRUM, DevOps, architectural infrastructure.
Algorithm construction, object-oriented design, and software development best practices.
Microprocessor and embedded systems industry innovations and developments.
Internet technologies, communication protocols, networking, and network security.
Comply with company requirements for software development engineers.
Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds).
Prolonged sitting and monitor use.
