Regional Growth Manager - Orthodontics (f/m/d)

Position summary

To drive our strong growth, we are recruiting a Growth Manager Europe. The position holder provides management focus and implementation strength in developing and driving StraumannGroup’s ClearCorrect business in the EMEA Region and implements the right go-to-market approach, revenue-generating sales and marketing initiatives as well as a driving high engagement with the internal ortho community.

This position coordinates and networks closely with all relevant internal stakeholders: the global OBU, the regional teams and the local sales and marketing teams. She / he is a change and transformation leader and a game changer in our current approach how to address and win new customers and retain and grow existing ones. She / he masters new sales and marketing techniques and trends in digital marketing, remote selling, blended Training & Education / events and “growth hacking”. The position holder drives thought and implementation leadership in sales activities, customer segmentation and transforming the current go-to-market approach and support our orthodontic sales force to a strong and winning team.

Main tasks and responsibilities

The Orthodontic Solution Growth Manager, in collaboration with the EMEA orthodontic team,

  • Manages and drives all aspects of the go-to-market, sales process, customer acquisition, utilization growth and patient communication for ClearCorrect within the EMEA Region
  • Contribute to define the strategic Go To Market for EMEA
  • Drive the implementation of our SMM (Selling Machine Model) to continuously improve our sales strategy and execution
  • Survey market to provide continuous market intelligence
  • Engage and enable in country Heads of ortho, Marketing, Training and Education teams to drive execution.
  • Implement state of the art training for orthodontic team.
  • Engage and energize the Ortho community within the EMEA region
  • Lead regular community to engage the ortho teams, share best practices, continue to inform the teams and create winning mindset
  • Share regular updates about business performance, key milestones and celebrate achievements
  • Develops training content and execution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop the Orthodontic Community in EMEA, mainly in areas of:
  • SCALE 2.0: internal customer growth program and solution selling model
  • SMM (selling machine model) working closely with the sales excellence team
  • Customer segmentation and customer targeting
  • Competitor knowledge and how to gain competitor customers
  • Overall orthodontic knowledge
  • Develops and distributes marketing contents to support GTM efforts. Ensure prioritization with OBU for global content, work with partners to develop regional content, work with in-country marketing to localize. Develop best practice sharing amount countries to create efficiencies.
  • Works with our Commercial Excellence team to develop our commercial data and system strategy: What KPIs do we want to measure, what frequency and granularity, what delivery solution... What system to automate our selling process. Support the development and roll out of digital tools to manage the orthodontic business performance at territory level and aggregated levels.
  • Stays close to market through co-travel, local team meetings, trade shows and events attendance.
  • Provides input and strategic guidance for ClearCorrect patient communication and patient acquisition tools and the development of value-adding services to our customers
  • Represents the EMEA region and its respective country organizations with global counterparts and advocates needs and wants
  • Engages as a “player-learner” in developing a winning team that has a high business impact

Experience & expertise

  • Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • 5-year experience in medical device commercialization. Custom device and digital solutions experience are a plus. Clear Aligner experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong experience within a sales and business development framework; having incubated new business and solutions before is a plus
  • 5-year or more experience within managing sales directly and/or business development projects with proven commercial success from preferably medical devices field
  • Track record in achieving challenging results
  • Comfortable with up to 60% travelling
