As we establish Ypsomed Diabetes Care AG as an independent med-tech company specializing in diabetes treatment through advanced insulin pump systems, the Health Economics Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) projects, will support tender management activities and will participate in reimbursement submissions, contributing this way to the overall Market Access strategy.

Support us in the production and development of cutting-edge medical technology solutions that enable people around the world to self-manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Your main tasks
- Track and forecast upcoming and open tenders by recording requirements, historic pricing, volumes, awards, and contributing to a valuable tender insights database
- Develop and maintain a tender documentation global repository facilitating access to relevant files for our affiliates
- Accurately monitor and report Pricing and Reimbursement (P&R) status across various regions and countries, ensuring up-to-date information for strategic decisions
- Analize and interpret Health Economics model results to create reports detailing methodologies and outcomes
- Support the creation of product-specific core value dossiers and collaborate on adapting them for country-specific reimbursement submissions
- Work closely with HEOR consultants to develop, adapt, and validate deliverables such as manuscripts, literature reviews and Market Access materials
Your profile
- You are a student or recent graduate in Health Economics, Biostatistics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced skills in Power BI and familiarity with statistical software
- You possess knowledge of Health Economics analyses, including cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, and budget impact models
- Familiarized with reimbursement systems across Europe and the latest HEOR trends
- Experience in academic research and publishing is highly valued
- Excellent organizational skills, motivated, eager to learn by doing, and comfortable working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken is essential
