This appeals to you
- You tackle a wide range of mathematical and geometrical modeling problems - often with a strong physical component - that are employed to design, characterize, and improve our systems
- You enjoy venturing into new fields and actively further the exchange with people from various scientific and technical backgrounds.
- You are passionate about adapting generic algorithmic approaches to the very situation in order to create customised light-weight solutions.
- You develop efficient algorithms for sensor data processing and closely collaborate with engineers in testing and implementing them into our products.
This is you
- A degree in applied mathematics, computer science or physics, (MSc or PhD) is required. Recent graduates are welcome.
- You have a strong theoretical background that allows you to adapt and tackle problems in diverse fields such as signal processing, image processing, opto-mechanics, geometric reconstruction, estimation, resource planning, etc.
- You are equally interested in dealing with concrete technical situations such as computational constraints or coping with sensor limitations
- You have well developed programming skills. We customary use Python and Matlab for prototyping purposes. If required, we deliver implementations in low-level languages.
- Fluent in English and (ideally) in German.
