Team Assistant - Group Regulatory Affairs 80-100%

The Team Assistant will manage the Group Regulatory Affairs Team’s administrative tasks, with a particular focus on coordination with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA (“FINMA”) and will also act as deputy for the Executive Assistant for the Group General Counsel. The ideal candidate embodies a “can-do” attitude, a sense of timeliness and responsiveness, willingness to take ownership and responsibility, and a desire to collaborate with a dynamic, driven and engaged team.

What you will do

  • Provide administrative support to the Group Regulatory Affairs team;
  • Assist with the organization of FINMA on-site reviews and the FINMA Supervisory College as well as other meetings involving internal and external stakeholders;
  • Support with reporting on regulatory developments from business units;
  • Translation of FINMA documents and communications;
  • Schedule meetings with multiple stakeholders, ensure that agendas and pre-meeting materials are aligned and distributed;
  • Assist with document management and electronic filing;
  • Co-ordinate travel (including flights, hotels etc.) in line with company guidelines and process expenses;
  • Oversee FINMA invoices and coordinate with internal stakeholders;
  • Act as deputy for the Executive Assistant for the Group General Counsel.

Work location is Zürich, Switzerland.

  • Professional experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment, the insurance, the financial sector, a law firm or at a supervisory authority
  • Commercial education (e.g., apprenticeship KV)
  • Trustworthy, committed person who communicates well and is used to interacting with executives and industry contacts
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Distinct ability to communicate in an effective and convincing manner, both in German and English
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams)
