SIX Financial Information Global Operations is running the data factory of the Business Unit Financial Information, with the mission to procure, collect, aggregate, enrich and deliver financial data, Data Management ensures a consistent logic for all activities involved in processing and improving the reference and market data.

As a Head Data Management Transformation, you are Senior Specialist Global Operations you will work in exciting areas at the heart of securities financial data. You will be jointly responsible for ensuring daily operations and their automation as well as for the SIX Financial Information area of the Connexor Service of SIX Swiss Exchange Ltd. To complement our team, we are looking for a customer-oriented, reliable person who would like to contribute to our dynamic and international environment. What You Will Do

  • collaborate with different teams and subject matter experts from several units cross-departmental

  • handling automation of processes and tasks, typically with the help of automation software tools

  • contribute to the continuous identification and implementation of opportunities to improve our value for the organization

  • responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of automated processes and collaborate with IT to drive data integration within an agile framework

  • developing and expanding methodological expertise in various areas such as Automation and Data Quality assurance

What You Bring 

  • strong knowledge of securities markets, products, and instruments, and their characteristics, functions, and risks and knowledge of the Swiss financial / capital market and the listed company landscape in Switzerland

  • excellent understanding of at least three of the following areas: Data management, Data operations, Data quality management, Requirements analysis

  • very good understanding of new technologies (AI, RPA, ML) and interest in digitalization and an affinity with technology (SAFe experience is an asset)

  • independent, innovative, pragmatic and self-motivated person that is passionate about working with people and building relationships with strong organizational and conceptual reasoning skills

  • solid technical MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)

  • fluent German and English language skills (both verbal and writing)
