Senior Accountant, 40 - 60%

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the Swiss entity (Cornerstone One AG), ensuring accurate and timely book closure, and consolidating the Group’s financial statements. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance with Swiss GAAP, and any other applicable accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial accounting and book-closing process for the Swiss entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations and accounting standards (Swiss GAAP)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Coordinate and manage audits 
• Preparation of payments
• Perform Group-level consolidation of financial statements, incorporating financial data from all entities 
• Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with Swiss tax laws, VAT, and other regulatory requirements for the Swiss entity
• etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial accounting and consolidation, preferably within the real estate or related industry
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP (IFRS is a plus)
• Experience with consolidation software and ERP systems is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Fluent in German and English
• Willingness and capability to travel international about 4 times a year
