Are you motivated by having an impact on Global Public Health? Great! Because we are looking for a Global Medical Affairs Vaccine Lead who will drive the Medical Affairs strategies and tactics for the smallpox/mpox vaccine and the tick-borne encephalitis vaccine.

Our vaccines make a real difference to people, and no matter your role we all contribute to protecting lives every day. This is how your work matters:
- You will follow-up the scientific literature for the vaccines in scope, as well as associated areas
- You will be in charge of the Medical Affairs strategy for the assigned vaccines and of the successful roll out of the strategy with other team members
- You will develop scientific relationships with key stakeholders (national authorities, supranational organizations, key external experts) in the area of expertise and ensure that you are recognized as a trusted partner
- You will digest insights gathered by other team members in order to adapt the strategy and tactics based on external input
- You will oversee planning and executing evidence generation in phase IV
- You will lead planning and executing evidence dissemination (including publications and congress activities) from phase III onwards in collaboration with Clinical Strategy and Medical Writing.
- You will closely collaborate with the Commercial team, supporting the roll out of the commercial strategy, material creation, and material approval

- An academic degree in a life science subject, e.g. Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs for licensed vaccines, at global / regional level or in the local markets
- Excellent knowledge of pharma industry standards & guidance for promotional and non-promotional activities
- Ability to develop and roll out processes and systems, in compliance with rules and regulations
- Irreproachable attention to ethics and compliance
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of scientists
- Ability to understand, interpret, and explain complex scientific and medical details
