Overview of Role
To provide support to the Wealth Management division’s Finance team and assume end-to-end responsibility for related Finance work as assigned (e.g. financial, management, statutory information). This internship will last for twelve months, ideally starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in the month-end closing: statutory P&L review by line of business and statutory to management adjustments
- Analyze any major difference between Actual vs. Prior Month and Actual vs. Budget for all Line of Businesses pertaining to the Wealth Management division
- Participate actively in the Planning & Forecasting process
- Take ownership of various financial reports and contribute to analyze and comment
- Participate in the implementation and design of new reporting standards in a changing financial environment
- Working on ad-hoc queries & projects (Data Visualization)
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports for management
Education and Qualifications
- Currently in education or completed University degree (Bachelor or Master)
- Ideally gained first work experience in financial controlling
- Strong MS Office knowledge, especially Excel
- SAP experience appreciated
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Fluent in English, other languages (German, French) are beneficial
- Problem-solving mind-set combined with strong analytical skills and sound professional judgment
