(Junior) Azure Cloud Migration Engineer (24 months temp)

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Migration Engineer to lead the migration of applications from on-premises Windows servers to our Azure private cloud. This exciting role offers the opportunity to directly impact the energy industry through innovative cloud solutions and collaboration.

What you will do:

• Join a dedicated team managing software applications related to Energy Trading.


• Plan, coordinate, and execute the migration of on-premises applications to the Azure private cloud.


• Collaborate with product owners and solution engineers to translate existing solutions into efficient cloud-based architectures.


• Develop and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.


• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of migrated applications.


• Foster strong teamwork and communication while gaining a comprehensive understanding of application landscapes.

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, engineering, economics, or a related field.


• Proven experience in Azure engineering or cloud migration projects.


• Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.


• Strong knowledge of Windows server environments and application management.


• Understanding of software development practices and methodologies is a plus.


• Certifications in Azure and Terraform are advantageous.


• Interest in the energy sector and/or trading is a bonus.


• Project management skills and problem-solving abilities.


• Fluent in English and German (mandatory).
