We are looking for an experienced IS Operations Manager for Finance to join our dynamic IT department in Baden, Switzerland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with over 10 years of expertise in SAP, including hands-on experience in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. You will play a key role in managing our current SAP ECC system for our Swiss business unit, overseeing the transition to SAP S/4HANA, and continuing to lead operations under the new platform.
Your responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee and manage daily operations of the SAP FI-CO system, currently running on SAP ECC, ensuring business continuity and system stability.
- Technical Support: Partner closely with our Finance business teams in Switzerland, supporting their day-to-day requirements, ad-hoc queries, and issues within the SAP FI-CO module. Collaborate with functional consultants to develop system enhancements requested by the users. Translate business needs into technical requirements and provide technical consulting.
- SAP S/4HANA Transition: Actively support the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless migration.
- Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and operations management for the SAP S/4HANA environment post-transition, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Application Management (Non-SAP): Manage and support non-SAP finance applications, ensuring smooth operation. This includes tasks such as technical support, vendor management, and execution of IT General Controls (ITGC). Ensure alignment with network, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain robust application performance, compliance, and security.
- Project Management: Lead and manage IS FI-CO-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget management, and alignment with business needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the point of contact for finance teams and collaborate with other IT and business departments to ensure successful delivery of operational and project goals. Foster close collaboration between Finance and IT
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, technical specifications, and interface designs. Create and update documentation for end-users and internal teams as needed.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience with SAP FI-CO, including hands-on experience with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Proven track record in SAP operations management, with a strong focus on FI-CO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, etc.).
- Strong understanding of financial processes and how SAP FI-CO supports them, particularly in the context of Swiss finance operations.
- SAP certifications in FI/CO modules and relevant technical certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience in managing large-scale SAP transitions from ECC to S/4HANA is a plus
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and hands-on mentality

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
- Proactive way of working
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German would be a plus.
