Clarus Capital Group AG is an independent wealth management firm and multi-family office based in Zürich, Switzerland. Clarus Capital Group AG is looking with immediate effect or by May 2025 for an experienced proactive, goal-oriented personality for a position as Senior Investment Advisor & Trader in full time (100 %) with knowledge and experience in technical and fundamental analysis of equity, FX, structured products and commodities market along with experience in managing AMCs and advisory portfolios. Due to nature of the business additional tasks such as clients onboarding, KYC, AML may be required as necessary.
Your accountabilities:
- Research of Listed Securities: Actively participate in the investment process by generating robust investment/trading ideas. Present these ideas to partner and the clients
- Portfolio Management: Support the management of client and proprietary multi-asset portfolios. Identify and select suitable investment products aligned with client goals, develop bespoke solutions, conduct portfolio reviews, and prepare tailored investment proposals
- Contribute market views and provides market research of major currencies and interest rates, including economic fundamentals
- Execution electronically and manually derivative transactions for clients, including OTC, structured products and Exchange Traded (Listed options) within established risk limits/parameters
- Daily Assessment of trading performance, analysis and back testing of executed strategies
- Prepare regular performance reports and provide insights into trading activities and market developments
Job Requirements
- University degree with strong academic background in finance and derivatives.
- Advanced financial or economic education; CFA designation or at least completed Level 2 is required
- Command of banking products (FX, IR, Equity, derivatives, structured products, securitization and listed options), cash flows, financial reporting and analysis, management reporting, variance analysis and knowledge of fixed income and capital markets.
- Proficient in financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and valuation techniques, including relative valuation and DCF
- Expertise in structured products and managing AMCs
- Proven trading experience with a verifiable track record
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in trade execution, sales trading, relationship management with a strong trading angle, or similar- within Private Banking, Investment Banking, or Fund Management.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency
- Knowledge of Swiss Bank Regulation and Onboarding process of new clients, AML, KYC.
- English and Russian are mandatory
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA or other coding experience is a plus).
- Python, BQL
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to assess market data, trends, and pricing models for options
- Strong Technical Analysis knowledge
- Proficiency in Trading Platforms: Familiarity with trading software and platforms used in the precious metals market, Bloomberg terminal
