Job Description Summary
Deal structuring and sales intelligence Leader will be responsible for developing and modeling creative deal structures in a business-to-business, consultative selling environment.
Works with experienced account executive and product management teams to deliver insights and lead data-driven internal and external conversations that highlight customized customer value.
The Leader brings deep analytical capabilities and proven commercial creativity to the team. Strong emphasis on collaboration across functions and levels within the organization. Ability to connect financial and operational insights and communicate customer value in the customer’s language. The Leader is measured on key financial metrics such as revenue and EBITDA as well as deal closure.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
As the Deal Structuring Leader, you will:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of business economics and analytical techniques to build creative commercial approaches in product and service opportunities.
- Provide high impact analysis and modeling to develop novel approaches for first-of-a-kind opportunities in target markets.
- Connect the dots between market intelligence, customer insights, and product benefits to design custom strategies that move customer from interest to contract.
- Partner with teams to raise caliber of economic analysis and deal structuring. Push teams to creative solutions that are informed by deal modeling and scenario planning. Share expertise to build capability within organization.
- Partner with teams to assemble large, complex offering strategies for multiple products, upgrades and solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance or Financial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years in deal modeling and negotiations in business-to-business environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing financial models and presenting insights/results to Senior Level decision makers.
Eligibility Qualifications:
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- The preferred work location is onsite at the GE Hitachi Nuclear headquarters in Wilmington, NC, but highly qualified remote candidates will be considered.
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to U.S. export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of U.S. person status prior to employment.
Desired Characteristics:
- MBA or similar graduate degree from an accredited university or college.
- Knowledge of energy markets and power pricing in regulated and deregulated markets.
- Strong Finance, Accounting, Commercial skills; detail oriented; proven skills to develop and analyze spreadsheets and financial models.
- Knowledge of nuclear services for refueling outages, plant modifications and upgrades.
- Chartered Financial Analyst Certification.
- Global experience.
- Works effectively with multiple at C-suite levels of organizations
- Uses Lean concepts including VSM, Process Mapping, Problem Solving, Action plans.
- Ability to reach to a decision with a less than perfect fact base, relying on pragmatism combined with logical reasoning.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead and influence cross functionally toward execution of strategic initiatives and projects.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
The base pay range for this position is $151,300 – 230,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 11/13/2024.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
