We are the "Smart Manufacturing & Services" research team led by Prof. Friedli at the Institute of Technology Management ( ITEM-HSG ). We collaborate with global B2B companies to craft strategies that transform them from mere product to solution providers as well as champions of circular business models.
Your tasks
- Contribute to project management activities involving renowned industrial and software companies.
- Collaborate closely with our team to pioneer and implement innovative approaches for the creation and promotion of digital business models.
- Provide support in the execution of studies and industry reports spanning diverse sectors.
- Engage in efficient collaboration and communication within multifaceted teams, including senior leaders, while upholding a structured approach.
- Develop your working style and expertise by actively participating in projects, leveraging personal interests, strengths, and experiences.
Your profile
- Pursuing a university degree in business administration or a related field, with a strong interest in industrial companies
- Results-driven approach, initiative, creativity, and team spirit
- Proven ability to handle pressure
- Interest in digital services and business models, possibly related to industrial sustainability
- Strong interpersonal skills for interactions with project members
- Prior experience preferred, e.g., consulting or industry internships
- Proficiency in both English and German, alongside competence with standard MS Office programs
