We are currently looking for a Test Engineer (f/m/d) in Neuhausen (Switzerland).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing for software, ensuring reliability and performance across all use cases.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to software interacting with hardware components.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and validate fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to understand requirements and report findings.
- Analyze logs and technical data to troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
- Participate in regression testing, performance testing, and compatibility testing.
- Utilize programming skills to assist in building automation frameworks and scripts for repetitive testing scenarios.
- Document test results, track issues, and follow through to resolution using defect tracking tools.
Your Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in software testing, with a focus on hardware-specific or embedded software.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
- Understanding of hardware-software integration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Experience or interest in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar).
- Knowledge of automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with testing software in embedded systems or IoT devices.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
- Proficient in both English and German written and speaking
