Production Operator

Responsibilities:
• Under general supervision, sets up, operates and monitors packaging equipment following standard procedures
• Ensures cleanliness and proper functioning of manufacturing equipment; makes minor adjustments/repairs and maintains documentation
• Communicates with Packaging supervision, Maintenance and Quality Assurance to address machine and equipment issues
• Prepares and maintains documentation, including batch records, log books and downtime entries; may check the documentation of others
• Assists with training including changes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Complies with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) concerning quality, safety and hygiene

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training
• 3-5 years' relevant manufacturing experience
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in a regulated facility
