University of Bern develops innovative sensor solutions for personalized medicine and disease monitoring. Our interdisciplinary research integrates signal processing, machine learning, and biomedical data analysis to advance digital health technologies. We are currently seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in Time Series Data Analysis to contribute to our work on physiological monitoring and biomedical signal interpretation.
Tasks
- Implement advanced signal processing techniques for detecting physiological patterns and anomalies
- Develop and apply machine learning algorithms for analyzing time series data from biomedical sensors
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and medical professionals
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong publication record in relevant fields
- Strong background in time series analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling
- Experience working with physiological or biomedical sensor data
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
