Position
Providing an excellent career opportunity at JTI Switzerland, you will manage the proper planning of the Swiss domestic demand utilizing accurate sales forecasting skills. The role requires you to build solid relations and be in close contact with both Sales and Marketing departments as well as the Factory manufacturing services. In daily business, you will develop your skill set, use your analytical thinking and your natural familiarity with numbers along with stakeholder engagement to successfully perform your duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
As the Demand Planning & Forecasting Manager you will…
- Plan the demand for a portfolio of Brands, categories, domestic and imported products based on volume forecasting
- Work on the weekly, monthly & yearly volume forecast planning for the domestic market by considering order pattern, promotions, innovations, and other factors
- Track the volume & production plans, set and initiate proactive action steps
- Actively use and develop AI-Machine Learning Forecasting Tool working closely with HQ Center of Excellence
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Factory to ensure product preparation to meet the Company’s go-to-market plans
- Effectively manage Finish Goods stock holdings and production material usage
- Participate in volume projections for the Annual Sales Planning process
- Accurately project & correct production shortfalls and surpluses
- Provide supply analysis, performance and KPI reports
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration or similar
- At least 2-3 years of practical experience, ideally in Demand Planning & Forecasting or other FMCG planning environments
- A high interest in processes and technologies, affinity to numbers is a plus
- Enthusiastic self-starter, flexible and reliable person with strong analytical mindset and ability to recognize complex correlations
- Solid English capabilities, German is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and Power BI & SAP knowledge are an advantage
