Our Corporate Finance Advisory (CFA) Team, sitting within our Strategy, Risk and Transactions practice, offers our clients financial and strategic advice in the context of M&A transactions, with a 20+ person team across our Zurich and Geneva offices.
As Switzerland’s No. 1 M&A Advisor for Financial Institutions, our FIG sub-sector team features a dedicated group of highly qualified individuals, who are looking to build their bench of junior talent. Our M&A advisors have a long track record of completed transactions, are thoroughly trained in bulge bracket investment banks or Big4 corporate finance teams.
All new team members get to work on live engagements and have the opportunity to make a real contribution to transactions as well as deal origination from day one.
How you can make an impact
- Interact and work with senior level client staff on demanding projects - both domestically and cross-border, develop financial models (such as valuation, operating and merger models), preparing information memoranda and management presentations to handling the day-to-day client communication
- Strengthen your deal execution experience: from project management and financial analysis, preparation of transaction documents and client presentations
- Be part of landmark transactions in the Swiss marketplace, providing buy- and sell-side advisory services to our discerning financial institutions clientele in Switzerland
- Be part of a global network of M&A specialists and work in a highly professional, diverse, and of course also fun work environment
- Develop and broaden your network while working autonomously under the supervision of the engagement leads
Who we are looking for
- You are an open and curious person with strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as international academic or work experiences, and you can cope well in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Ideally 1-2 years of prior work experience in the execution and origination of M&A transactions, gained at either an investment bank, a consultancy firm, in private equity/buy-side or another Big4 firm, preferably with the additional advantage of knowing the Swiss and/or international financial institutions sector
- Fluent English as well as German and/or French
