The Sr. Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing account performance, trade promotion effectiveness, competitive information, and all other related data to inform business decisions and improve business performance.

•Report on weekly and monthly sales trends by channel, account, territory etc. and make strategic recommendations to Management
•Conduct breakeven analyses of special offers comparing cost and revenue dilution with expected increase in sales volume and revenue. Forecast incremental sales based on recent trends, historical data, and comparable segments.
•Analyze sales performance metrics and provide clear actionable insights to the leadership and sales team
•Maintain quarter-to-date and year-to-date channel and account metrics such as booking production, revenue, acquisition cost and ROI
•Support Trade Sales team, partnering with SVP of Trade Sales, VP of Strategic Sales, and VP of Field Sales. Maximize use of data produced by field sales team, establish and track KPIs, analyze revenue produced in each territory, track performance of individual business development professionals
•Create and regularly update reports and dashboards, and own key daily, weekly, monthly sales reports and subsequent analysis
•Prepare reports and dashboards for sales team to include in presentations to clients / potential clients
•Play a key role with Strategic Partners, participating in top account calls
•Manage sales incentive commissions and cost of sale analysis which includes calculating eligibility, reviews, and distributing reports for payment
•Work closely with finance department to provide updates on projected revenues per sales individual / team / department, tracking alongside budget, updating forecast
•Prepares materials for planning meetings by aggregating and reviewing competitive data, internal sales data, important demographic developments and pricing and category trends. Attends and contributes to meetings as appropriate by providing any commentary on analyses or pulling relevant data during the meeting as necessary
•Evaluates the potential impact of Marketing promotions or prospective programming elements (ROI) by reviewing pertinent sales data, trends and comparable examples to forecast sales
•Supports Directors in developing targeted action plans for underperforming accounts
•Proactively recommends process improvements based on partner needs and trends
•Uncovers market and brand opportunities by developing an understanding of category, customer and market dynamics and using this knowledge to assess brand performance
•Measures risk to sales plan (gap analysis) by comparing the plan to historical sales data, current trend information and marketplace developments; reports potential shortfalls to management to uncover drivers for important changes in actions
•Develops sales templates; collaborates with business managers in Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Operations and other departments to identify business needs and designs appropriate, replicable reports
•Trains other team members on tools and tasks and documents processes
•Perform ad-hoc analyses and data cleanup projects, working closely with Corporate headquarter teams in Geneva, as needed
•Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills a must
•Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred; major in Business, Economics, Finance, or other analytics-intensive fields a plus•5+ years of business, finance, or marketing analytics experience; background in travel industry a plus
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel – comfortable manipulating data and maintaining large spreadsheets with high level of accuracy
•Experience with Power BI a must
•Experience with writing queries a plus
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently and/or within a team
