Summary of Position
The Director of Aircraft Management is responsible for driving the company’s growth initiatives and strategic planning efforts. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives. The Director of Aircraft Management reports to the CCO and will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and ultimately increase TAG’s managed fleet.
Key Responsibilities, Duties & Accountabilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve company objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to understand the competitive environment and identify new opportunities and trends

Business Development: Use proven historical tactics to identify and pursue new business opportunities within aircraft management, partnerships, and markets. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to allow your network to promote TAG. Attend relevant industry events and present to larger audiences to promote TAG. Systematically measure ROI of event attendance by adding opportunities within CRM dynamics.

Performance Monitoring: Exceed key performance indicator (KPIs) used to track progress and measure success. Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership including live pipeline.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including charter sales, marketing, finance and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategic initiatives.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis for client forecasting and modelling to support strategic decision-making and sales activities.

Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Identify and implement best practices to drive efficiency and become an industry leader.
Annual Objectives

Exceed annual individual Aircraft Management Business development target for new aircraft joining TAG fleet and ACM products and services.

Support and execute targeted strategies for client retention and repeat business

Support contract management throughout the sales and customer service cycle.
Competencies for Director of Aircraft Management UK & EU
Essential
-
Strong project management skills. Ability to lead multiple sales projects simultaneously

5-7 years experience within business aviation
-
3 years minimum proven experience in business development for aircraft management or a related role

3-5 year proven history of exceeding sales results specifically within business development

Proven experience presenting at large industry events / internal company briefs

Understanding of procurement and negotiations practices

Proven numerical literacy for budgeting / forecasting

2-3 years intricate understanding of Aircraft Management and ownership.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and time management skills
Desirable

Bachelors degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
