For one of our clients in the Energy sector, we are looking for an Energy Project & Bid Specialist. In this role, you will coordinate project and bid activities with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth and successful execution. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring clear, effective communication across departments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in engineering project management, technical expertise in energy systems, and experience in bid coordination. A proactive, detail-oriented approach and skills in cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.
Energy Project & Bid Specialist
Your tasks
- Lead project acquisition efforts for large-scale Thermal Transfer System solutions, focusing on district heating, from inquiry to contract
- Develop and coordinate comprehensive project proposals, including cost calculations, with internal engineering teams
- Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with international clients, ensuring competitive advantage
- Define project scope and develop a bidding strategy aligned with client requirements
- Advise customers on optimal solutions, balancing economic and technical factors
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to strengthen customer relationships
- Participate in market research and contribute to strategic growth initiatives for Thermal Transfer Systems
Your profile
- Educational Background: Strong technical foundation, with an engineering degree and a Master’s preferred
- Experience: At least ten years in plant engineering, preferably within the energy sector
- Sales & Leadership: Proven experience in EPC project sales and hands-on project management
- Contract Management: Skilled in reviewing commercial and legal contract terms
- Personal Qualities: Proactive, adaptable, resilient, and capable of managing multiple sales campaigns
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Travel: Open to 10-20% travel, comfortable in multicultural settings
