Our Company
Scylla AG was founded in 1973 as a family business. We are an international shipping company with offices in four countries and more than 2000 employees on our cruise ships. We offer high quality cruises. We develop, design, build and operate passenger cabin ships. This is what makes Scylla unique. The ships, including the crew and services, are marketed internationally by various tour operators. One of these is VIVA Cruises, our own tour operator. Our fleet of 43 ships is constantly expanding and we are always on the move and looking for new opportunities. In order to realise our ambitious plans for the future, we are hiring an HR/Payroll Generalist (m/f/d).
Main Tasks
- Responsible for the preparation and implementation of the entire payroll process for the Swiss branches
- Maintaining correct and complete personnel and payroll accounting
- On- and offboarding administration such as (de-)registration of social & health insurances
- Notification of social insurance changes (AHV, BVG, health insurance)
- Supporting the Head of HR when necessary (month- end closings, audits, etc.)
- Collaboration on international payroll projects, e.g. with regard to standardised ‘Standard Operating Procedures’, KPI management and creating reports
- Daily exchange with our Crewing department based in Cyprus
Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship in the commercial sector and further education in human resources (e.g. HR assistant/Personalassistent/in)
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
- Service-oriented and strong communication skills
- Fluency in German and English (oral and written) is a must, French or Spanish is a plus.
- Problem-solving, team-orientated personality with an independent working style and attention to detail.
