Job Description Summary
The Supply Planning is responsible for analytical and operational support for the ANZ Logistics Operations. The role involves collecting, reporting, processing and analyzing logistics operational data and metrics, coordinating warehouse and freight operations, collaborating across different supply chain functions and supporting continuous improvement projects.
Position summary

Maintain demand planning activities such as forecast profiles, new products, conversion strategies, contracts and tenders through to order creation and fulfilment, ensuring the international suppliers and manufacturing divisions meet the requirements of both Australian and New Zealand markets.

Review historical demand trends and drivers to prepare statistical forecast modules.

Lead the Demand consensus monthly meetings to discuss high variances for actual demand vs forecast, highlight erratic and trending demand, and review of sales budget to finance impact.

Schedule outbound customer shipments for assigned Distribution centers while utilizing ERP and BD's Transportation Management System to select an appropriate carrier to meet BD's customer requirements.

Manage the outbound transportation routing and scheduling for BD customers across Australia and New Zealand

Lead and drive Initiatives for BD ANZ Supply chain to optimize cost & process improvement

Act as lead for managing project logistics and ensure service levels are adhered as per business requirement

Work closely with the 3PL partners in organizing and scheduling freight, providing shipment details as per plan to ensure freight moves in the most cost-effective manner

Proactively identify gaps and contribute to the process of establishing controls resulting in zero compliance issues including establishing management review process

Responsible to supervise and report out monthly Supply chain cost including budget preparation

Act as a point of contact to ensure freight invoices are validated and shipment level cost allocated

Be the single point of contact with freight vendors for day-to-day management of outbound operations and organizing ad hoc requirements

Work closely with the carriers in understanding and circulating Rate Cards and anticipated increase/ change in charges and invoice validations

Work closely with carriers to understand carrier system capability as a part of total transport system architecture including integration of data and functionality. etc.

Proactively work with the DC and customers on any complaints and issues reported and ensure an RCA is completed and corrective actions are implemented for all issues raised

Reverse logistics management.
Candidates for this role must possess the following Skills and Experience:

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Science, IT&T, Technical or a relevant medical discipline.

Highly developed data analytics and digital skillset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Attention to details and self-organized.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Power BI).
Candidates for this role will ideally possess the following:

Previous working experience within Logistics or similar supply chain roles.

MedTech industry experience.

Experience in the use of Corporate systems (e.g. SAP, JDE)
This is a full-time field-based role in Sydney.
Salary range is $85,000 - $100,000 base plus superannuation (commensurate with experience).
