Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Wir suchen derzeit einen erfahrenen Systemingenieur (m/w/d) für Data Communication Systems, der unser Team verstärkt. Der ideale Kandidat verfügt über fundierte technische Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung und Integration von Kommunikationssystemen und hat Erfahrung in der Schienenfahrzeugindustrie.
🔥 Ihre Aufgaben:
- Entwicklung, Integration und Validierung umfassender Kommunikationslösungen für Schienenfahrzeuge.
- Definition, Spezifikation und Architektur von Datenkommunikationssystemen für neue Fahrzeugprojekte.
- Abdeckung aller Funktionen eines Data Communication Systems, einschließlich:
- Fahrzeug-zu-Boden-Kommunikation (z. B. LTE/5G, WLAN, Tetra, GSM-R, FRMCS).
- Fahrzeuginterne Netzwerke (Ethernet, IP-basierte Systeme).
- Kommunikationsschnittstellen für Fahrgastinformationssysteme, Videoüberwachung, Diagnosesysteme, etc.
- Cybersicherheit und Datenverschlüsselung.
- Systemintegration der Kommunikationslösung in die Gesamtfahrzeugarchitektur.
- Technische Abstimmung mit internen Abteilungen, Lieferanten und Kunden.
- Unterstützung bei der Inbetriebnahme, Tests und Validierung der Systeme.
- Erstellung technischer Dokumentation und Nachweise für Zulassungen.
🎯 Ihr Profil:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Kommunikationstechnik, Informatik oder vergleichbar.
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung oder Integration von Kommunikationssystemen, idealerweise im Bahnumfeld.
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse in IP-Netzwerken, Funktechnologien und relevanten Normen (z. B. EN 50155, EN 50121, EN 45545).
- Erfahrung mit Systemarchitektur und -design.
- Analytisches Denken, Teamfähigkeit und strukturierte Arbeitsweise.
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
