Our client is an international group active in the hospitality sector. The company is on an exciting growth trajectory and expands its footprint across Europe. The group recently completed an acquisition in Geneva and we are looking for a reliable and ambitious Finance, HR, and Administration Manager.
Description
- Accounting expertise: oversee the entire accounting cycle, from AP/AR/GL to the final closing of accounts (Swiss GAAP). Prepare monthly management accounts and support the preparation of annual statutory accounts. Reconcile accounts payable with suppliers, manage credit control, reconcile tax accounts, and bonuses accounts. Coordinate audit.
- Tax Compliance: coordinate the preparation of VAT, CIT, and withholding tax returns. Prepare the review of monthly and yearly tax declarations with input from tax advisors.
- HR administration: manage payroll entries and reconcile payroll summaries with trial balances and payroll accounts. Coordinate with the payroll consultant for monthly payroll, taxes, social security contributions, and insurances. Administer the HR tool and liaise with the payroll consultant for contracts and documentation. Support the General Manager in controlling employee work hours, work permits, and HR compliance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: support the Operations and Corporate Finance team in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecasts. Coordinate with parent company: investigate and report deviations versus budget, identify and explain monthly P&L and balance sheet deviations. Prepare budget and cash reports with actuals and forecasts. Explain differences, trends, and analytical reviews.
Profile
Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.
English and French must-have; any other languages are an asset.
3+ years of experience in a similar position.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel). SAP, Opera Cloud, Mirus desirable.
Strong organizational skills and tenacity in project follow-up, organized, meticulous, analytical, proactive.
Availability to travel occasionally (Europe).
