Position Overview:
This role is a Regional Agile Leader supporting cross category families & markets with over $750MM annual spend assumption to ensure the Procurement organization delivers results in support of the MedTech APAC business strategy and objectives. This role is accountable for the following primary objectives:
- Partner with key business stakeholders, Procurement Global & Regional Category and Business Engagement leaders to orchestrate Procurement delivery of several impactful initiatives through buying intervention, structural optimization and free cash flow.
- Responsible for leading and executing critical cross categories & markets projects for the MedTech business. The role’s scope of responsibilities include:
- Determine the MedTech business procurement priorities and partnering with Category & Business Engagement Leaders to devise strategies and projects that advance those priorities.
- Work directly with MedTech business leadership, Finance Leaders, Procurement Business Engagement Leaders and, Global & Regional Category Leaders to align on Procurement activities.
- Deliver against performance targets for the MedTech Procurement organization in the role’s areas of responsibility and ensure target achievement.
- Responsible for leading and executing procurement initiatives, including delivery of sourcing, supplier relationship management and contracting for cross categories and markets.
- Develop deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers for owned projects to include performance management, co-innovation, and improvement of end-to-end value. Conduct supplier negotiations for owned projects supporting the MedTech business and provide recommendations to MedTech business leaders.
