Key responsibilities:

Ensure timely and high quality development, change, optimization and control of production and cleaning recipes and documentation (EBR, SOP, etc.) in accordance to local procedures

During recipe building phase creates necessary objects in MES/DeltaV, testes them in development environment, and monitors those blocks during commissioning and qualification phase

Delivers automation input required for the specific set-up, commissioning and qualification of the manufacturing suites and equipment.

Representing interface for automation-related matters between different departments, e.g. ensures that the conditions and specifications for successful execution of a project are brought to the responsible parties in the planning and engineering phase.

Monitors functionality of manufacturing records (EBR) in MES/DeltaV during water batch and first batch in production phase and takes corrective action in case of deviations.

Support of running production in case of automation trouble-shooting for the assigned automation recipes.

Continuously improves procedures and processes (6S, Lean Sigma, KAIZEN, EPS) in compliance with safety, hygiene, environmental and quality requirements in the area of responsibility.
Key requirements:

Experience in automation engineering and maintenance, ideally in operation of a pharmaceutical company

Experience with Emerson MES Syncade (DeltaV is a bonus)

Knowledge of GMP compliance requirements preferred

Good communication skills and interaction with a variety of interface within the organization and the shop floor

Strong team orientation

Proficiency in English, German is an advantage
