BAT BANGLADESH IS LOOKING FOR AN HR EXECUTIVE
SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Level Manager
FUNCTION: Human Resources

LOCATION: Dhaka
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Junior HR Executive will support the execution of strategic HR priorities, driving talent management, learning & development, and D&I objectives while ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder alignment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Talent Acquisition:
- Devise and execute talent acquisition strategies to ensure a sustainable pipeline of talent for entry-level and mid-career roles.
- Oversee the recruitment process with a focus on quality hires, efficient vacancy fill-up, and compliance in recruitment activities.
- Strengthen university engagement and maintain a healthy talent pipeline for future organizational needs.
Talent Management:
- Execute the talent management processes including Talent Review (Mid-Year and Year-End) and performance management
- Develop onboarding frameworks for new hires, ensuring a holistic understanding of the business.
- Ensure on-time, in-full delivery of HR processes, including recruitment, promotions, phased increments, and terminations.
- Maintain 100% compliance with Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes, equipping line managers with necessary tools and guidance.
Talent Development
- Collaborate with talent teams to conduct training needs assessments, execute training programs and leadership development initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Skills Development Team to execute bespoke learning interventions including e-learning platforms.
DEI, Culture, and Reward:
- Lead initiatives to meet Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) ambitions, ensuring robust representation across levels.
- Organize connect events and pulse-check initiatives, ensuring alignment with functional goals and driving cross-functional synergy.
- Provide operational support for policies such as reward Greenbook, education assistance, global mobility, and leave management.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
- A bachelor’s/master’s degree in Business Administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources in a corporate organization with proven experience in managing HR processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of building credible relationships at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, ensuring timely delivery of HR initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change management and cultural initiatives within large teams.
- Strong understanding of DEI best practices and strategies for building a diverse talent pipeline.
- Ability to execute learning and development initiatives aligned with business needs.
